Harm reduction program support volunteers assist in the preparation and assembly of the safer drug use kits made available by KFL&A Public Health to satellite locations
Clinic support volunteers provide assistance and support at clinic sites during seasonal immunization campaigns and enhance the agency's response to public health emergencies.
General support volunteers assist with various health promotion and health protection special events and projects. May assist agency teams with internal requests and odd jobs such as replenish supplies, put together resource packages, provide activity support, set-up, and take down of program activities at various community venues, and monitor the safety of participants at events.
Super Sam mascot and handler volunteers attend events in the community to promote healthy food and drink choices. This is a fun and unique volunteer experience for a young person or high school student trying to fulfill their 40 Hours of volunteer activities in the community.
